Although I came up with the idea behind Give 30 a number of years ago it took a while to implement.  In fact, it would not have happened without the patient hard work, encouragement, advice, ideas, and goading from a group of dedicated friends and family.  Mostly, the delay can be attributed to a combination of procrastination and fear that the idea was pie in the sky.  Yes, fear of failure delayed this initiative for a while.  However, as Henry David Thoreau advises: "If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be.  Now put the foundations under them."

So, here I am, building the foundation under my castle.  But, I can't do it alone.  I need you to build that foundation with me - brick by brick.
